Letter: Coston for Washougal mayor

By Brent Boger, WASHOUGAL
Published: November 1, 2017, 6:00am

I’m on the nonpartisan Washougal City Council. I was Clark County Republican Party chairman before joining the council. Partisan politics does not belong in Washougal government.

I support Molly Coston. She will be a nonpartisan Washougal mayor.

Dan Coursey, Coston’s opponent, will be partisan. While campaigning, he describes himself as a lifelong conservative Republican and attacks Coston for being involved with the nonpartisan League of Women Voters. Coursey’s contributors are outsiders, many associated with the far right of the local GOP.

Please vote for Molly Coston for Washougal mayor.
