Letter: Herrera Beutler is on wrong track

Our go-along-to-get-along representative Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, just voted for a budget that will increase the national debt by at least $1.5 trillion. To invest in infrastructure? No, to make room for tax cuts that will mostly benefit the 1 percent.

Where are the outraged “fiscal conservatives”? Will they show up at the next town hall? Oh, that’s right, we’re not allowed to meet our representative in person anymore. Maybe we need someone who isn’t afraid of the people she is supposed to represent.
