Letter: Orange demonstrates integrity

I’ve seen shoddy campaigning, but recent mail brought a new low. Kris Greene, in his bid for port commissioner, must be desperate when he related Don Orange, his opponent, to a bad orange that stinks. Orange, on the other hand, lists reasons why we should vote for him and refrains from calling names.

I’ve known Orange through membership in Kiwanis, which is dedicated to helping children. And, in my experience, he conducts his business in an honest manner. Once, his shop recommended I buy cheaper tires (with less profit to him) because I drive so little that I wouldn’t wear them out anyway in a lifetime.
