Letter: Remember Las Vegas

By Dan Strawn, VANCOUVER

Under the protection of the Second Amendment, the law allows deranged shooters armed with war weapons to deprive an expanding group of Americans of the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness so eloquently referenced in the Declaration of Independence. The irony and hypocrisy is deplorable. Why do we tolerate this — the continual murder of Americans in the name of the Second Amendment?

Will this insanity ever end? No.

We’ve already moved on from Las Vegas.
