The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man whose body was found in an inoperative ice machine Sunday as Michael Holmes, 66.

An employee found Holmes’ body outside a gas station convenience store, in the 3500 block of East Fourth Plain Boulevard, on Sunday night.

No foul play was suspected, according to the Vancouver Police Department. Holmes reportedly frequented the area and apparently had a number of health issues.

The medical examiner’s office said a cause or manner of death was pending further testing.
