Club to host media panel talk at Cascade Park library

Vancouver – The Clark County chapter of the Meaningful Movies Project is hosting a panel discussion Thursday night to discuss the documentary “Shadows of Liberty” and the importance of a strong, local media.

The discussion begins at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Cascade Park Community Library, 600 N.E. 136th Ave., in Vancouver. Panel members include: Jim Demmon, the manager of the Clark/Vancouver Television (CVTV), Susan Galaviz who championed the establishment of KXRW FM radio in Vancouver, and John Hill, metro desk editor at The Columbian.

The event is free. Pizza and water will be provided. Donations are accepted to help cover food costs.
