Girls basketball: Mountain View 50, Battle Ground 43

Mountain View stole the game from visiting Battle Ground in the fourth quarter, turning steals into points to break open a close contest.

Battle Ground led 36-33 after three quarters before Mountain View’s defensive pressure took over.

Jenna Carlson had 14 points, six rebounds and three steals for Mountain View. Dejah Wilson and Gillian Murphy combined for 13 of the Thunder’s 17 fourth quarter points. Wilson finished with 12 and Murphy 10.
