Letter: Red, white and blue are the best

In Eugene Robinson’s Sept. 29 opinion column, “Trump’s race-baiting reflects what he really believes,” he infers that the president of the United States is a white supremacist. Robinson is so racially charged and his facts so distorted, it’s hard to read his biased columns. Everything he says seems to be a racial issue — blacks vs. whites.

Maybe something will happen in our world that will change his perspective of the U.S.A. — that it’s more than just two colors. Maybe he will wake up and be thankful he is living in the very best country in the world. The best colors on earth are red, white and blue — not just black and white.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
