Dawson Fritz scored on a 7-yard touchdown run with 1:04 remaining as the Monarchs snapped a 15-game losing streak.

Mark Morris took a 22-21 lead with 7:56 remaining. But Jeremy Martin took the ensuing kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown to put the Spudders back ahead 27-22.

On the game-winning drive, The Monarchs covered 75 yards in less than a minute, thanks in part to a 20-yard catch by Jack Shipley and an ensuing personal foul penalty.

For Ridgefield, Hunter Abrams had a 53-yard touchdown run and Carter Pankow caught a 34-yard touchdown pass from Dawson Lieurance.
