How Clark County college football players fared, Oct. 14

Jack Colletto throws for a touchdown, rushes for two more for Arizona Western

Jack Colletto showed why he is such a dual-threat quarterback.

Saturday, the Camas grad threw for a long touchdown and rushed for two more in Arizona Western’s 46-13 win over Phoenix College.

It was the best game of the season so far for Colletto, who has shared time with two others quarterbacking one of the top JC programs in the country. Arizona Western is 6-0 and has averaged 37.0 points per game.

Colletto completed 8 of 10 passes for 169 yards, including an 87-yard touchdown pass. He also rushed for a 29-yard touchdown and a 6-yard touchdown.

Being a multi-threat QB is nothing new for Colletto, who threw for 2,846 yards and 27 touchdowns and rushed for 1,253 yards and 21 touchdowns to lead Camas to the 4A state title last season.
