BRUSH PRAIRIE — Savior Socks is holding a dance to collect socks for those in need as part of its Million Sock March.

“Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria along with other catastrophes over the past few months have magnified the need for clean dry socks,” said a news release from the nonprofit’s founder, Tammy Newbill.

Savior Socks has collected and distributed more than 6,000 pairs of socks since it launched in November 2016.

Dance Your Socks Off is happening 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 12919 N.E. 159th St. in Brush Prairie. There will be live music and raffle tickets will be given for every pair of socks donated.
