A Vancouver man involved in a May 2016 home-invasion robbery in the Oakbrook neighborhood was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison, according to court documents.

Mason C. Campbell, 23, previously pleaded guilty in Clark County Superior Court to first-degree robbery with a firearm, first-degree burglary and possession of a stolen firearm, court records show.

In addition to his sentence, which included a 60-month firearm enhancement, he will serve 18 months of community custody, court records state.

Vancouver police responded to a home-invasion robbery shortly after 1 a.m. May 30, 2016, in the 2000 block of Northeast 93rd Avenue. The resident, Robert Moore, called 911 to report that two unknown armed men broke into his home. He said they were looking to steal firearms and medical marijuana that he grows for his wife, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

The men, whose faces were concealed, assaulted and zip-tied him, he told police, and one placed duct tape over his mouth, the affidavit states.

Police collected the duct tape as evidence, and the Washington State Patrol crime lab later identified a fingerprint on it as Campbell’s, court records said.

Campbell was arrested in Gresham, Ore., 10 days after the home-invasion robbery, and police there recovered a stolen firearm from a separate case that they believe was used at the Moore residence, according to court documents.

No other arrests have been made in the case, Deputy Prosecutor Aaron Bartlett said Thursday, but the investigation is ongoing.
