Letter: Freedom is two-way street

It seems that everyone agrees that the NFL players have a right to kneel. What seems to be lost on so many is that the people who disagree with them have the same right to voice their opinion. Protected freedom of speech is a two-way street. NFL players can kneel and people who disagree with them can boycott. That is not a hard concept to understand.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
