Kade Coons rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns, including the go-ahead score with 1:04 left to lift Washougal to a 2A Greater St. Helens League win.

After a Washougal drive stalled, the Panthers punted to Mark Morris inside the 10 yard line with less than two minutes to play.

The Monarchs looked to control the ball and clock and take the game to overtime.

But Washougal forced a fumble, which the Panthers recovered on the Mark Morris 1.

After a run for loss, Coons took it into the end zone for the winning score.
