BATTLE GROUND — Ballots are in the mail to all registered voters in the Battle Ground school district for the April 24 bond vote.

Battle Ground is the only jurisdiction with a measure on the April 24 ballot. The district is asking voters to approve a $224.9 million bond issue, citing growth and aging facilities. Voters failed to pass the same bond in February; it received majority approval but fell short of the 60 percent requirement.

Voters who have not received a ballot by April 12 should contact the Clark County Elections Office at 360-397-2345 to request a replacement. Replacement ballots can also be requested by email, mail or in person at the elections office at 1408 Franklin St., Vancouver.

Ballots must be returned or mailed and postmarked by April 24.
