The Vancouver chapter of American Association of University Women will host a discussion about the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, a decommissioned nuclear production complex located on the Columbia River in Southeast Washington.
Randy Bradbury, who is with the Nuclear Waste Program in the Washington State Department of Ecology, will give the presentation “Hanford: Myth and Reality.”
The event starts at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the community room of Columbia Bank, 101 Sixth St., Vancouver. Doors open at 10 a.m. There is no admission and the public is welcome.
