Brush Prairie — Rocksolid Community Teen Center’s 17th annual Lucky Shamrock Auction raised more than $130,000, a record for the event, which was held March 10 at the Battle Ground Community Center.

The fundraiser featured silent and live auctions and Timothy Gunn playing a traditional bagpipe tune. Mill Creek Pub catered the event, which was sold out with 240 guests attending.

The center has seen the number of teens in the program double throughout the last year, and the money will go toward general expenses, enhancing existing programs and sending 20 teens to camp for two weeks this summer.
