Mountain View — Members of the Mountain View High School DECA team competed in the Area 9 Regional Career Development Conference in Longview with about 800 other students from 13 Southwest Washington area high schools. Twenty-one Mountain View students qualified for the state conference, which will be held in Bellevue in early March, where they will have the chance to qualify for the national conference in Atlanta in April. The competition is made up of two parts: a role play where students solve real world business problems and present their solution to a judge, and a 100-question comprehensive exam. They can compete individually or as a team with one other student.
