Letter: Criticism is not anti-American

Funny (not “ha, ha funny,” but “sheesh” funny), but letter-writer Tana Aichele’s complaint that critics of President Donald Trump are somehow “anti-American” and part of some vast leftist conspiracy rang false in the right-wing echo chamber (“Trump foes are anti-American,” Feb. 7). The media is only reporting the things Trump does and says (tweetstorm, anyone?).

Strange, but I’d doubt we heard any complaints from Aichele and her ilk when Fox News and Breitbart hurled insults and insinuations against President Barack Obama. Guess those weren’t anti-American, huh?
