Vancouver Art Space is seeking entries for February’s group show. The deadline is Jan. 15. The theme is broken and mended hearts. Work can be literal or abstract, and should be focused on capturing relationships between people, places and things. Entrants must be 18 and older. Work must be framed, wired and ready to hang. Music

Clark College seeks singers for three choirs: the Clark College Chorale, the Women’s Ensemble and the Concert Choir. Be prepared to perform a song of your choice, vocal exercises and sight-reading. Rehearsals began Jan. 8. The Clark College Chorale rehearses 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays. The Women’s Ensemble rehearses 1 to 2:20 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; and the Concert Choir rehearses 11 to 11:50 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Concert dates begin the week of March 12.

Theater

Magenta Theater seeks actors for “Emma: A Pop Musical,” which will run April 6-21. Auditions will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 21, with callbacks at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 23. Auditions are for the show’s 20 roles and understudies. Teens 12 and older will be considered; there are roles for adult actors. A headshot is required, and a theater resume is suggested.
