Central Park — Local Girl Scouts Grace Hines and Julia Hines raised more than $350 by selling their own toys, clothes and shoes.

They used the money to buy 20 video games and board games, as well as accessories for the games.

They donated the games to the Fisher House, part of the Portland Veterans Affairs Health Care System.

The Fisher House serves as a home away from home provided at no charge for out-of-towners whose veterans are being treated at Portland-area VA medical facilities.
