Art

The Artist Loft is seeking art for a March and April show called “Twisted,” which will showcase art focusing on fantasy, illusion, comic characters and paintings with a “twisted” view. Drop off is 1 to 6 p.m. Feb. 26 at the gallery, 1001 Main St., Suite C. Selected artists receive $20 per entry, plus 30 percent commission on any sale. Maximum size is 30 by 40 inches; art must be framed and ready for hanging. Email entries to info@artistloftvancouver.com.

Music

Clark College seeks singers for three choirs: the Clark College Chorale, the Women’s Ensemble and the Concert Choir. Be prepared to perform a song of your choice and to do vocal exercises and sight-reading. Auditions are by appointment. Call 360-992-2245 or email Dr. Jacob Funk jfunk@clark.edu. All rehearsals are in Beacock Music Hall, Clark College, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver. Rehearsals began Jan. 8. The Clark College Chorale rehearses 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays. The Women’s Ensemble rehearses 1 to 2:20 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; and the Concert Choir rehearses 11 to 11:50 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Concert dates begin the week of March 12.

Vancouver Community Concert Band seeks all brass, woodwind and percussion players, active and retired. All abilities welcome; no audition required. Theater

Magenta Theater seeks actors for “Emma: A Pop Musical,” which will run April 6-21. Auditions will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 21, with callbacks at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 23. Auditions are for the show’s 20 roles and understudies. Teens 12 and older will be considered; there are roles for adult actors. A headshot is required, and a theater resume is suggested. Love Street Playhouse seeks talent for its upcoming production of “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!” Auditions will be 2 p.m. Jan. 20 at Love Street Playhouse, 126 Loves Ave., Woodland. Arrive a few minutes early to fill out audition information or do it online beforehand. Bring a cutting of a song to perform, and be prepared to do cold readings from a script.
