Three people were injured Friday night in a multi-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 5 just north of the Interstate 5 Bridge, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash was reported at 11:25 p.m. after a 2010 Subaru Impreza sedan driven by Robert B. Feldman, 28, of Camas cut across a median at a high rate of speed while merging onto the freeway from Washington Street and crashed into a 2016 Volvo tractor pulling two semi trailers, according to the WSP.

The crash caused the tractor-trailer rig, driven by Timothy P. Johnson, 57, of Belfair, to rotate left and jackknife on the freeway, striking the passenger side of a 2016 Toyota Camry sedan driven by Shawn L. Mota, 29, of Eugene, Ore., the WSP reported.

Feldman was injured and transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Two passengers in his vehicle, Anthony M. Accetta, 25, of Camas, and Alyssa J. Cook, 24, of Battle Ground, were also injured and transported to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, the WSP reported. No other injuries were reported.

Feldman’s condition was unavailable Saturday afternoon.

A hospital spokesman said Cook was treated and released, and Accetta was in good condition as of Saturday afternoon.

The crash remains under investigation, the WSP reported.
