Rotary Club Foundation awards $96,000 in scholarships

Esther Short — The Vancouver Rotary Foundation awarded $96,000 in college scholarships to 24 Southwest Washington high school and college students at the club’s annual scholarship luncheon, held May 23 at WareHouse ’23. The foundation is the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Vancouver, with many of the scholarships funded through endowments established by individuals and fundraising by Rotary Club members. In 45 years, the foundation has awarded more than $1.5 million in scholarships to local students.
