Long plans Congress campaign kickoff event
Carolyn Long, newest candidate to join the campaign for 3rd Congressional District, will officially kick off her campaign March 30. Long is running as a Democrat. The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Clark County Square Dance Center, 10713 N.E. 117th Ave. in Vancouver.
Herrera Beutler to kick off re-election campaign
Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, is launching her re-election campaign for the 3rd Congressional District on April 3. The kickoff begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, 301 W. Sixth St. For $1,000, residents can join Herrera Beutler and Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Spokane, for a private roundtable. The breakfast program begins at 8 a.m. at $40 a person.
McDevitt plans town hall for 3rd District
David McDevitt, Democratic candidate for the 3rd Congressional District, is holding a town hall event beginning at 10 a.m. April 7. The event will be held at the Cascade Park Community Library, 600 N.E. 136th Ave. in Vancouver.
