Genealogical society digitizes 19th century tax ledgers

Edgewood Park — After a yearlong project, the Clark County Genealogical Society has finished digitizing the 1886 and 1891 tax ledgers. The records provide data about property ownership and financial information for genealogical research. The society coordinated the project, which received some funding from a Historic Promotion grant from the county. The Clark County Historical Museum loaned book a book photo cradle and Washington State University Vancouver provided technical support. Two WSUV interns worked on the project as digitizing technicians.
