Letter: Consider Long for Congress

Our current representative to the House of Representatives stated that she did not want to have in-person town hall meetings or engage on social media because she did “not want to feed the beast.” I guess she means me and my friends. In a recent interview with The Columbian Editorial Board she could not answer questions from just two people about the tax bill she supported.

Carolyn Long will answer questions and listen to our concerns. She believes in working together to find common ground. Meet her at one of her many town hall meetings listed on her website.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
