Letter: Serial provides reading enjoyment

We just finished reading “The Columbian’s 2018 Serial Story: The Secret School,” written by Avi. We thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, with 18 chapters, which was printed every Tuesday and Thursday from March 13 through May 17. The story was gratifying and interesting and it made us want to keep reading to know what would happen next. We hope to see more stories in The Columbian and hope that the school districts have used these stories to help show students the value and enjoyment of reading.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
