Traffic backed up into Vancouver on Tuesday morning due to a crash near the Interstate 5 Bridge.
The Washington State Department of Transportation sent out an alert about the crash at 7:14 a.m.
The alert said the crash blocked the left lane of traffic at Milelpost 0 of the freeway.
Officials said the wreck had been cleared around 8 a.m.
But traffic continued to move slowly across the Columbia River. Traffic maps showed stop-and-go traffic up to 78th Street in Vancouver as of 8:15 a.m.
