Curt Warner Chevrolet hosts safety fair today
Children and parents can learn how to be safe today in an event at Curt Warner Chevrolet on Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard just west of Interstate 205.
The safety fair, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is presented by the Vancouver Police Department and Safe Kids Clark County.
Also scheduled to be there: folks with the Vancouver Fire Department, Clark County Public Health, AMR Northwest ambulance service and the Mill Plain Traffic Safety Corridor.
In addition, volunteers will make sure children’s bike helmets fit properly and that child car seats are in good working order.
Gregoire will speak at WSUV graduation
Gov. Chris Gregoire is scheduled to speak at Washington State University Vancouver’s commencement on Saturday, May 10.
The event will begin at 1 p.m. at the Amphitheater at Clark County, located off exit 9 of Interstate 5. |
