Groundbreaking for Crawford Park canceled
A groundbreaking ceremony for Sgt. Brad Crawford Park has been canceled.
The Felida Neighborhood Association had scheduled an event for Saturday but the land has already been excavated by the contractor and is unsuitable for a public event.
“We are concerned about the safety of participants on this site. Therefore, the groundbreaking ceremony will be combined with the grand opening of
Phase I at a date to be determined,” according to a news release from the association.
