Commentary: Greg Jayne
Consider this a warning. Or maybe just a suggestion. Or perhaps simply some words of wisdom.
Greg Jayne: College athletes get schooled in finance
Greg Jayne: Commentary
When the issue of paying college athletes showed up in the news again last week, I gave Josh Tschirgi a call.
Greg Jayne: Fine is Stern's abuse of force
Greg Jayne: Commentary
The Spurs decided to rest four of their best players — Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Danny Green — for a nationally televised game against the Miami Heat. This did not sit well with Darth Stern.
Greg Jayne: Papermakers' dreams will get bigger
Greg Jayne: Commentary
So while Camas lost 51-28 to Skyline of Sammamish on Saturday in the Class 4A football playoffs at the Tacoma Dome, it was only reasonable to ask about next season.
Greg Jayne: The king is dead? Not yet
Greg Jayne: Commentary
The only fate worse than that which befell the Ducks was what happened Kansas State, which was No. 1 in the BCS standings until being pounded, pummeled and pureed by Baylor.
Greg Jayne: For this column, I gave 110 percent
Greg Jayne: Commentary
One of the earliest lessons of journalism school is that you should avoid cliches in your writing.

Greg Jayne: James still has winning formula
Greg Jayne: Commentary
Every college football program goes through good cycles and bad cycles; it's just that each school has a different paradigm through which it defines "good" and "bad."
Greg Jayne: Title IX brings out the gadflies

JAYNE: Not all athletes choose to move
Greg Jayne: Commentary
It seems, sometimes, as though high school is the new college.
Greg Jayne: Arena deal is overdue good news for Seattle
Commentary: Greg Jayne

Greg Jayne: As far as your TV goes, it's Vancouver, Ore.
It's like an alternate universe. You wake up in the morning in Vancouver, safely across the river from Portland, and flip on the TV hoping to watch the newly minted Pac-12 Networks. And instead, you are reminded that Comcast thinks Clark County is in Oregon.
