John Eckhart, 30, left, and Alayna Higdon, 26, both of Vancouver, have been charged with unlawful imprisonment domestic violence for allegedly locking up two of Eckhart’s sons. The permanent custody of the two autistic boys who were reportedly held captive in a cagelike room will be decided at an Oct. 7 trial.
