H.M. Knapp and his family lie buried near the western edge of Fisher Cemetery. Knapp and his wife, Rachel Fisher Knapp, were pioneers in east Vancouver. The cemetery was established on land donated by William Simmons, who named it for his wife, Rachel Knapp’s sister Ann Jemima Fisher Simmons.
