Debbie Johnson holds a photo of her mother Mildred “Mickey” Newman. Johnson discovered in March that the nursing assistant accused of assaulting her mother two years earlier while she lived in an adult family home was still licensed to work in the state. The nursing assistant, Susan Meade, was disciplined by the state earlier this month, more than two years after the incidents occurred.
