Lee Golden, center, stands with his mother, Dolores Golden, left, and his fiancée, Laurie Scheer, on the Salmon Creek Trail near Klineline Pond on Monday. Delores donated a kidney to her son in 2000 after he was diagnosed with kidney disease. Laurie is also a kidney recipient. The trio are part of a team of organ donors and recipients who will participate in Portland to Coast Walk Relay on Friday.
