The Vancouver City Council removed Councilor Jeanne Stewart, a light-rail skeptic, from the C-Tran Board of Directors on Monday night. She drew the ire of council members when she ignored the council’s majority decision that voters this year should be asked to approve a single ballot measure that would have, among other things, provided money to operate light rail.
