Battle Ground Lake State Park manager Jim Presser, left, issues an annual Discover Pass to Ridgefield’s Aimee Witherspoon, who regularly visits the park with her horse “Worth the Wait.” The Discover Pass, for day use, costs $30 and helps support the state park system. A daily day pass can be purchased for $10.
