Brenda McAllister of Orchards cheers on drivers of classic cars near Dairy Queen on Main Street in Vancouver during Saturday’s “Cruisin’ the Gut.” The 1973 Evergreen High graduate once plied the street in her own ’69 Corvette, but now prefers chop-top sedans from the ’40s and ’50s.
