Employees pick strawberries on Steve Sakuma's farm outside of Burlington. On a hot mid-July morning, they wear long sleeves and pants, hoods, gloves and face masks as protection from pesticides. Sakuma estimates that 80 percent of his workers are illegal immigrants.
