Douglas Kerley, of Lynnwood, demonstrates in favor of state budget cuts as he attends a rally of protesters against budget cuts at the Capitol in Olympia on Monday. Kerley said he feels that both the government and individuals need to make sacrifices and make do with less state funding of social and other programs if there is any hope to improving the economy.
