Jim Fisher, with his dog, Buddy, calls himself “the old hermit of Skunk Hollow.” A resident of Fern Prairie since 1969 and member of the Fern Prairie Homeowner Association, he is representative of the well-rooted, older residents who inhabit this rural area and drive up its median age to the oldest of any community in Clark County.
