Desere and Miguel Bastidas had much to be happy about Sunday as ground was broken on a house that will be their home at 1027 W. 39th St. An all-woman crew will do the work, with sweat equity provided by Desere and Miguel for the Evergreen Habitat for Humanity project. The house is in Vancouver’s Lincoln neighborhood.
