Will Lafrance, left, pulls vegetation with Lew Montgomery, right, and one other person during Saturday’s Beach and Riverside Cleanup in Southwest Washington and Oregon on Saturday. Locally, volunteers removed more than 4,400 pounds of trash and 2,300 pounds of blackberry vines, mostly from the Vancouver Lake area and the north bank of the Columbia River.
