Pfc. Lee Kershaw, center, works with new recruits Ranee Watkins, 23, left, and Renee Costello, 20, during the physical training Thursday. Kershaw volunteers her time once a week to mentor recruits in the Army’s Future Soldiers program. She joined the Army in October 2010.
