Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., vowed to continue supporting rail projects by urging Congress to support the Freight Act, part of the 2012 federal transportation reauthorization bill, passed March 24 by the Senate on a vote of 74 to 22. The House has yet to vote on the bill.
