As teammates on the Prairie tennis team, sisters Shiori, right, and Akari Baba normally aren’t on the court at the same time, unless they are playing doubles. But on April 14, Akari, a freshman, beat Shiori, a senior, for the singles title in the Thunder Invitational at Mountain View.
