Wild Bill Keller, left, with buddy Dale Vermeire, gets a ride in his newly restored 1927 Ford T-Bucket for the first time as friends gather at the Vancouver Veterans Administration Hospital grounds on Sunday. Keller, a 62-year-old mechanic diagnosed with late-stage cancer, was unable to finish restoring the hot rod, so his friends finished it for him in less than a week.
