Washington State Patrol Cadet Aleksandr Ignatov, center, administers a field sobriety test to a DUI suspect on state Highway 14 while Trooper Bennie Taylor observes and takes notes. For the past two months, Ignatov has put what he learned at the State Patrol academy to the test while veteran troopers ride along and supervise.
