Curly, 22, was the inspiration for the Maguire family to make a 2013 photo calendar. The aging dog, rescued in 1999 after living at an illegal backyard kennel in California, was patient during its photo shoot, Tracy Maguire said. "Although her hearing and eyesight have diminished a little over the years, her seemingly endless energy still amazes everyone."
